At **Tour Rider**, your privacy and trust are paramount. We are committed to complete transparency regarding how we interact with your personal and financial data.

1. Google Calendar Integration and Data Access

Our application uses the Google Calendar API strictly for the **sole purpose** of allowing you to schedule and post new events directly to your chosen Google Calendar(s).

Permissions We Request (Scopes):

2. Booking Data Collection and Use

We only collect and store the necessary client data required to process and confirm a booking. This information is used strictly for internal purposes to fulfill the service you requested.

• **Necessary Data:** This includes client name, contact information (phone, email), pickup/drop-off locations, dates, and times.
• **Data Use:** This data is used exclusively to communicate with you about your booking, confirm details, and coordinate the ride service.
• **Data Restriction:** **No client booking data is sold, rented, or otherwise shared with third-parties for marketing, advertising, or any unnecessary purpose.**

3. Payment Processing and Financial Data

We prioritize the security of your financial information by partnering with leading, secure payment processors.

• **No Storage of Card Data:** **Tour Rider does not store or process your full credit card number, CVV code, or any other sensitive payment card information.**
• **Payment Processors:** All payment transactions are securely handled by your chosen third-party payment provider: **Square Payments API** or **PayPal Services**.
• **Processor Responsibility:** When you enter payment details, you are submitting them directly to Square or PayPal. Their respective privacy policies govern the collection and use of that information. We receive only a confirmation or transaction token necessary to finalize your booking.

4. General Data Storage and Limitation (Non-Google)

We operate under a strict policy of data minimization for all user data.

• **No Importing Private Data (Google):** We **do not** import, copy, read, or store existing event details, guest lists, calendar names, or any other private information from your Google Calendars. We only push data to your calendar.
• **No Access to Other Google Data:** We do not request, access, or interact with any other Google services, including Gmail, Contacts, Drive, or User Profile information (beyond the necessary basic ID to link your account).
• **Data Use Limitation (Google):** All data accessed through the Google API is used **only** for the function of posting an event to your calendar as directed by you. We do not transfer this data to third parties, nor do we use it for advertising, serving ads, or generating credit scores.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain booking data for the minimum period necessary to comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Beyond that period, we either delete or anonymize the data.

• **Google Data:** Because we do not import or store your calendar's private data, we have **no Google Calendar data to retain** beyond the authorization token.
• **Revoking Access:** You can revoke our access to your Google Calendar at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page: Google Account Permissions.
